OFF TO WASHINGTON DC
I've been really taking it easy in Boston. Yesterday I just did a "Freedom Trail" Tour where a tour guide dresses up in 16th centrury Bostonian clothing and tells how the American Independence movement got started here in Boston.
The sore throat i've been having I think is due to my wishdom teeth comming up- its been slowing me down, so I havn't been able to see more of Boston than I wanted to. Also this afternoon it started to rain a little and along with the cooler weather its been a damper!
But tonight I will be catching a 9:50pm train to Washington DC. It gets there at 7:00am in the morning. I was going to stop for one more night in New York but it was hard to get a hostel room. The school break here has just started, so its going to be alot busier in all the touristy places.

I heard you won't make it here by the 28th according to my dad. Too bad! That's the Memorial Day weekend. That's one of the biggest holiday in America besides Thanksgiving, ID4, and Christmas. I was planning to take you to Mexico since I have a 3 day weekend offs. Anyway, whenever you are available, just come over and I'll think of someplace to take you.
When are you coming over? Try to stay a little longer with us. Unless you get bored, theres always someplace to go. Vegas is about 5 hours aways from us. The Grand Canyon is like 6-7 hours away and San Francisco is about 8 hours. Mexico is 2-4 hours away.
How am I going to save some food for you from the party tomorrow if you can't come on the 28th as you promise earlier? You're gonna miss the good foods. You must be craving some Filipino food already since you've been gone from home, how many months now? What do you eat most of the time during your tour? Do you buy and eat at fast food restaurant? You also said last time you cook, what do you cook again?
Ok, call me again, but use the toll number I gave you. Try to call me from a hostel phone instead, but not a payphone. I missed your 2nd call that day when you called my home and I was busy when you called my cell that first time. I was at the store at the moment.

Hey Cuz,
Yeh I was hoping to storm my when down to Miami then Orlando, Houston and finally there in LA. But the train schudules are not as frequent and available as I expected. For example I will be staying here in DC till Saturday since that's when the next train becomes available for me. The same in Orlando I have to stay there longer than I planned for. I'm quite dissapointed in how things have turned out with respect to my schudule. I guess I should have booked everything a long time a go in advance- but that would have been hard to do.
Yeh definitely I'm missing my mums and Maryann's filipino cooking!
I guess when I get there your mum will just have to cook adobo or apretada for me : )
But yeah most days I eat out now, especially when the hostels I stay in dont have a practical kitchen to cook in. My recent speciallity is spanish potatoe omellete.
OK I will try to use your toll free number but it may have to be in a payphone. Most hostels I go to dont have a normal phone I could use.
