HEY WHO SAYS NOTHING HAPPENS IN NEWCASLTE WELL THIS MONTH WE'VE HAD A COAL LOADER SHIP THE 'PASHA BULKER' WASHED UP AT NOBBY'S BEACH AND A FLOOD THAT SWEPT THROUGH NEWCATLE LAST WEEKEND AFTER A 1 IN 30 YEARS STORM PASS THROUGH. IN THE PROCESS IT DROWNED MY CAR WHICH I'VE BEEN DRIVING FOR 7 YEARS!

HOME AT LAST!!!!

Well I am finally back here in Oz. I flew into Sydney Airport with my mum and dad yesterday at 6:20am.

Looking forward to catching up with everyone and checking out the changes that has taken place since i've gone.

MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL...

AND A HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Well Christmas is near and the new year is just around the corner. Another year almost gone, but it will be a year that I will never forget. It will be the year that I openned myself up to the world and in return the world has openned up to me.

At the moment my immediate family and a couple of aunties and their families from Australia have come to join me here in the Philippines for a family reunion. However tragedy has struck our family with the death of one of my mother's sister who died of cancer just days ago. So it would be a somewhat sadder Christmas for us. My condolences goes out to my Uncle and my two cousins my autie left behind.

Hopefully some cheer will come our way with the wedding of another one of my cousin on the 28th of December and a string of birthdays and christenings in the new year including my own birthday on the 2nd of January who I will be celebrating together with another cousin!

Well I guess my trip is almost over and before I know it I will be back in sunny Australia all charged up and ready to join the workforce again! I am sure pictures from my trip will make up the screensaver of my work computer to always remind of the year... that I did some travelling.

KUMUSTA NA KAYONG LAHAT!

Nandito parin ako sa pilipinas. I have not been doing much other than experience life here in the Phillipines. I am mostly in the country side in Nueva Ecija, north north west of Manila. I spent a week and a half in Makati, which is the central business district of Manila. For all the girls who like to go shopping it is the place to be... just shopping malls everywhere. Anyway back in Nueva Ecija life is pretty simple. I am just basicaly supervising the house we are building here for our grandparents and also as our holiday house. The area is a sorounded by farm land or "bukid" where they plant rice "palay" and onions "sibuyas" (right now). There are mountains in the background over which is already the Pacific Ocean.

I speak fluent tagalog over here which is surprising everyone i speak to back home. In fact I think it is going to take some getting use to to speak english all the time once again.

I havn't really been doing much travelling. There are so much places that I really want to see here in the Phils but getting around here on your own can be difficult and tiring and possibly dangerous especially ff they know you are not a local. But heck I've done enough travelling for the year so I might just relax until I go back to oz on the 10th of January...yeh travelling can be exhausting! :)

Hope everyone is doing well and sory for those who regularly check my blog only to find I have not posted anything new. Maybe just check it once a week for updates. Also what about some email guys? love to here from you all.
